About the Organize PDF

Organize PDF puts the pages of a PDF in the order you want. Drag page thumbnails to a new place (or use the arrow buttons under each page), turn pages that are sideways, delete the ones you do not need and add blank pages, then save the result as a new PDF. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays sharp and selectable, and the file never leaves your browser.

PDFs are processed in your browser (pdf-lib, PDF.js and, for passwords, QPDF compiled to WebAssembly), so contracts, invoices and scans never leave your device.

How to use the Organize PDF

  1. Drop a PDF onto the box or choose a file.
  2. Drag pages into the new order, or use the left and right arrows under a page.
  3. Use the rotate and delete buttons under a page, or Add blank page and Reverse order above.
  4. Click Save PDF and download the organized file.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting bookmarks to carry over. The organized PDF is a new file built from the pages, so the original bookmark outline is not copied, and links that jump to another page may stop working. Links to websites keep working.
  • Deleting the original too soon. Keep the original until you have checked the new file: deleted pages cannot be recovered from the organized copy.

How do I rearrange pages in a PDF?

Open the PDF here and drag each page thumbnail to its new position. On a phone, tap the left and right arrows under a page instead. The number before each page name is its position in the new file.

How do I delete pages from a PDF?

Click the bin button under each page you want to remove, then save. Reset brings back every page if you change your mind before saving.

Where do blank pages go, and what size are they?

Add blank page puts a new page at the end; move it with the arrows or by dragging. It takes the size and orientation of the page before it, so it matches the pages around it.

Does organizing reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied into the new file without being redrawn or re-compressed, so text, images and vector graphics are unchanged.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Thumbnails, reordering and the new PDF are all made by your browser, and the result is saved straight to your device.
