About the Extract PDF Pages

Extract PDF Pages saves the pages you choose as a new PDF, leaving the original file as it is. Click page thumbnails to select them, Shift+click to select a run, use the odd and even shortcuts, or type numbers such as 1-3, 7. Save them together as one PDF or as one PDF per page. It is also the quickest way to remove pages: select the ones to keep.

PDFs are processed in your browser with pdf-lib and PDF.js, so contracts, invoices and scans never leave your device.

How to use the Extract PDF Pages

  1. Drop a PDF onto the box or choose a file.
  2. Click the pages to keep, or type page numbers and ranges in the field.
  3. Choose One PDF or A PDF per page.
  4. Click Extract and download the result.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting a new page order. Pages are saved in their original order. To reorder, save one PDF per page and merge them in the order you want.
  • Losing links to other pages. Links that jump to a page you did not extract have nowhere to go in the new file and stop working. Links to websites keep working.

Works well with the Extract PDF Pages

  • Split PDF: cut the whole document into several files at once.
  • Merge PDF: join the extracted pages with other documents.
  • PDF to JPG & PNG: save the chosen pages as images instead.

Frequently asked questions

How do I delete pages from a PDF?

Select every page you want to keep (Select all, then click the unwanted pages to deselect them) and extract. The new file contains everything except the pages you left out.

In their original page order, whatever order you clicked them in. To rearrange pages, extract them as separate files and join them with Merge PDF in the order you want.

Does extracting reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, including text, links on the page and images.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Thumbnails, selection and the new PDF are all made in your browser.
