JSON to CSV
Convert JSON arrays to CSV with automatic column detection, nested object flattening and custom delimiters.
About the JSON to CSV
The JSON to CSV converter turns an array of JSON objects into a spreadsheet-ready table. Columns are detected from all objects, and nested objects can be flattened into dotted column names.
Conversion happens in your browser, so your files and records stay private.
How to use the JSON to CSV
- Paste a JSON array of objects or open a file.
- Choose the delimiter and whether to flatten nested objects.
- Download the CSV or copy it into Excel or Google Sheets.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to nested objects?
With flattening on, { "user": { "name": "Ada" } } becomes a column called user.name. Arrays are written as JSON text in a single cell.
Why does Excel show everything in one column?
Some regional settings expect semicolons. Choose ";" as the delimiter, or use the import wizard.
