JSON Viewer
Explore JSON as a collapsible tree with types, counts and copyable paths.
About the JSON Viewer
Large JSON documents are easier to understand as a tree. The JSON Viewer shows every object and array as a collapsible node with its type and size, and lets you copy the path to any value.
Everything runs in your browser, so your input is never uploaded to a server.
How to use the JSON Viewer
- Paste JSON or open a file.
- Expand and collapse nodes to explore the structure.
- Copy a value or its path (for example data.items[0].id) for use in code.
Frequently asked questions
How large a file can it open?
Files of several megabytes work well, since nothing is uploaded and nodes are only rendered when expanded.
What path format is copied?
JavaScript-style access paths, such as user.addresses[1].city, ready to paste into code or a query.
