About the Keyword Generator

The Keyword Generator collects long-tail keyword ideas from the autocomplete suggestions of Google, YouTube, Bing and DuckDuckGo. It asks for your seed keyword with question words, modifiers and (in deep mode) every letter and digit after it, removes duplicates, and groups what comes back into questions, comparisons, commercial and other searches. Autocomplete reflects what people really type, so the ideas are real searches, but they come without search volumes.

Our server asks the autocomplete service you choose for suggestions, without your IP address or cookies. Answers are cached in memory for 12 hours so repeated searches are faster; nothing is saved to disk.

How to use the Keyword Generator

  1. Type a seed keyword: a topic, product or problem in two or three words works best.
  2. Pick the source, country and language; YouTube suggests video topics, Google web searches.
  3. Run Quick for an overview, or Deep (A–Z) for several hundred long-tail ideas.
  4. Filter with Related topics and the include/exclude fields, then copy the list or download the CSV and check volumes in Google Keyword Planner or Search Console.

Frequently asked questions

Why are there no search volumes?

Search volumes come from paid databases or from Google Ads accounts. Autocomplete only shows that a phrase is searched often enough to be suggested. "Seen" counts how many lookups returned a phrase, a rough sign of how central it is to the topic.

Which ideas should I target first?

Questions and specific long-tail phrases: they are easier to rank for and say exactly what to answer. Group ideas that the same page could answer, and give clearly different intents their own pages.

Why do results differ from what I see in my browser?

Suggestions depend on country, language, recent trends and, when signed in, your own history. The tool asks without any personal history, so you see the general suggestions for the country you pick.
